If you are anything like me, you’re a clothes hoarder and addicted to shopping. Which I will even admit for a guy, it’s pretty bad. Therefore every 6 months I make plans to clear out my closet and reevaluate everything I own. When I mean everything, I really do mean EVERYTHING.
When you think about Classic American style you might think of brands like Brooks Brothers and J. Press. Fast forward to the 2014, where Instagram stars like Kiel James Patrick, aka KJP, are popular sources of style inspiration. KJP owns his own self-named brand that specializes in handcrafted bracelets, belts, and other accessories. Looking through his Instagram photos, you get a sense of his take on Classic American style.
On October 28th, Ella Bing had the privilege to hang out at The Getaway with close friends and supporters to help raise money for Michelle Boyd DeJong and her fight against brain cancer. The fundraiser was a huge hit with over 200 friends and family coming out and supporting Michelle with her battle against this tumor.
Flashback about 10-15 years ago when rappers wore XXXL tees… Remember how horrible that was? Men decided to wear t-shirts that were definitely 4 sizes too big for them. Which lead to a shift for slim silhouettes and where some guys took it too literal. Purchasing shirts in “schmediums”.
In my opinion, fall is the best time of the year, originally being from Chicago, Autumn has always been a time of year to look forward to. But now being in Tampa, I know there is no place I'd rather be then spending these few months in Florida.
Burgundy, Maroon, Wine, Auburn, Garnet, and every other shade of dark red in-between are great fall colors. The rich deep color can add some variety to your dark fall and winter wardrobe. These colors work well with blacks, browns, and grays, which makes pairing easy. Use these colors as an accent color, keep it simple, or dare to be bold.
