4th of July Fireworks In Tampa Bay

There’s nothing better or more American than being surrounded by friends and family with heads bent back and reflections of fireworks in everyone’s eyes. I don’t care if you 5 or 85, fireworks are the bomb (see what I did there?). There are a myriad of options for fireworks to celebrate 4th of July in the Tampa Bay. Choose wisely, leave early, bring lawn chairs and commence the celebration. We searched the Internet to find the best fireworks for 2016 so that you didn’t have to. Oh, and they are all free too, yay America!

 

Channelside 4th of July Celebrations

To avoid the traffic and stress of going to one of the surrounding beaches, celebrate the 4th in Channelside. There will be live music starting at 6, with festivities and family friendly activities taking place before the fireworks at 9:30. Stop and grab a bite in one of the restaurants in Channelside bay plaza. Enjoy the views of the bay and grab a frozen daiquiri from Wet Willies while you watch the biggest fireworks show in Tampa.

 

 

Clearwater Celebrates America

Clearwater’s Coachmens Park, 301 Drew Street

Head to Clearwater this Independence day for a celebration on a larger scale. Enjoy the beaches during the day which will most likely be packed with hoards of tourists, but that is expected then head to the park in the afternoon. Starting at 4 there will be local vendors, food and drinks. This celebration really has it all; a kids area, a dance marathon, a reading of the Declaration of Independence (sounds wild) Live music starts 7:30 and fireworks show ‘spark the sky’ begins at 9:30. St. Petersburg’s Fireworks Across The Bay

Spa Beach Park, 615 2nd Avenue

If you are looking to avoid all the hoopla and just watch some good old fashioned is visible all along the waterfront, Spa Beach Park is best for optimal viewing. fireworks head to St. Petersburg. Bring lawn chairs and towels. Firework will start anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30 depending on the weather. Pack a picnic and bring the whole family.

 

 

4th of July Celebration at Siesta Key Beach

Head to the one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States for the 26th annual Siesta Key fireworks. The number of people expected to attend are between 20,000 and 30,000 so be prepared for large crowds. Spend all day soaking up the sun on the white sand beaches and view the fireworks at 9:15 near the volleyball courts.
